Kathy Mattea among inductees to WV Music Hall of Fame

Kathy Mattea will be inducted into West Virginia’s Music Hall of Fame this weekend. Kathy has been one of West Virginia’s jewels of Country Music for thirty years. She is also an outspoken activist against the ravages of Mountain Top Removal coal strip mining, and one of her last records was called “Coal”. She is also one of the main characters in the film Coal Country.
