EARTH DAY IS APRIL 22nd, and it’s 40th anniversary. HOW FAR HAVE WE COME?
There is a bigger picture here than a disaster in a mine. Every day more explosive power is used in Appalachia than the Hiroshima atomic bomb. Mountains are being destroyed, miners, locals, and all of us are being put in harms way, and we all can do something about it. Let’s make EARTH DAY really meaningful this year, and stop Mountain Top Removal strip mining. Let’s also demand a new energy policy that holds big business accountable.
